Abstract：Cultural inheritance is important to the development of Chinese medicine schools. With the thread of cultural inheritance of YUAN's prevention and treatment of osteonecrosis of femoral head(ONFH) with Chinese medicine in Lingnan area，the author summarizes the contribution made by the school of Prof. YUAN Hao to the inheritance of the theory and practice of treating ONFH with Chinese medicine and illustrates the characteristics of the cultural inheritance of YUAN's prevention and treatment of ONFH with Chinese medicine in Lingnan area，starting from the perspective of the characteristics of the foundation， inheritance and development of the culture of YUAN's prevention and treatment of ONFH with Chinese medicine in Lingnan area. By doing so， the cultural inheritance of prevention and treatment of ONFH in Lingnan area can be better inherited and developed.
