Clinical Observation of Weisu Granules Combined with Routine Western Medicine for Duodenal Ulcer Complicated with Chronic Gastritis and Its Effect on Gastric Mucosa Function and Inflammatory Factors
Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Weisu Granules combined with Rabeprazole Sodium Enteric- Coated Tablets on duodenal ulcer complicated with chronic gastritis and its effect on levels of gastric mucosa function and inflammatory factors. Methods:A total of 100 patients with duodenal ulcer complicated with chronic gastritis were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Amoxicillin Capsules, Clarithromycin Tablets and Rabeprazole Sodium Enteric- Coated Tables, and the observation group was additionally treated with Weisu Granules based on the treatment of the control group. The two groups were treated for two weeks. The clinical effects and levels of gastric mucosa function and inflammatory factors in the two groups were compared and analyzed. Results: The effective rate and total effective rate were 70.0% and 98.0% in the observation group respectively, and 38.0% and 84.0% in the control group respectively, differences being significant(P<0.05). After treatment, the improvement time of gastric cavity pain, belching and acid reflux in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group, differences being significant(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparisons of indexes of gastric mucosa function, including levels of gastin(GAS),pepsinogen(PG)Ⅱ and PGⅠ,between the two groups(P>0.05). After treatment, the levels of GAS in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the levels of PGⅡ and PGⅠ were increased(P<0.05);the improvement of above three indexes in the observation group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05). Before treatment, there was no significant difference being found in the comparisons of levels of serum procalcitionin(PCT), interleukin- 32(IL- 32) and transforming grouth factor beta 1(TGF- β1) between the two groups(P>0.05);after treatment, the levels of PCT,IL- 32 and TGF-β1 in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above three levels in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of Weisu Granules combined with routine western medicine has a significant clinical effect on duodenal ulcer complicated with chronic gastritis, which can significantly improve the clinincal symptoms of patients, accelerate the recovery of gastric mucosa, and reduce the inflammatory responses of the body.
