Abstract： This artical aims to introduce the clinical experience of Prof. CUI Gongrang in treating advanced lung cancer. Prof. CUI believes that advanced lung cancer is depletion of healthy qi in its root and phlegm-stasis complex in its branch. The majority of deficiency is the lung，spleen and kidney deficiency， and the majority of excess is phlegm coagulation，qi stagnation and blood stasis. Its treatment emphasizes the principles of tonifying the kidney， fortifying the spleen and diffusing the lung， and regulating qi， dissolving phlegm and dispelling stasis. Under the guidance of "determination of indications aecording to the medicinal properties"，Prof. CUI prescribes a main prescription for advanced lung cancer and differentiates the syndrome based on the main prescription， so as to achieve an effect of reinforcing healthy qi and dispelling pathogen，relieving the clinical symptoms of advanced lung cancer，and improving the quality of life.
