Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Xiaopi Prescription combined with Mosapride Citrate Dispersible Tablets for diabetic gastroparesis(DGP). Methods:A total of 100 cases of patients with diabetic gastroparesis were divided into the control group and the study group according to the random number table method, with 50 cases in each group. Both groups were routinely given hypoglycemic treatment; the control group was treated with routine western medicine, namely Mosapride Citrate Dispersible Tablets, and the study group was treated with Xiaopi Prescription combined with Mosapride Citrate Dispersible Tablets. The clinical effects and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups; the changes in traditional Chinese medicine(TCM) symptom scores, levels of glycosylated hemoglobin, fasting blood glucose, motilin and gastrin, and gastric evacuation time in the two groups were compared before and after treatment. Results: After treatment, each score of TCM symptoms and the total scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment;each score of TCM symptoms and the total score in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of glycosylated hemoglobin and fasting blood glucose in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the levels of glycosylated hemoglobin and fasting blood glucose in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of motilin and gastrin and gastric evacuation time in the two groups were decreased and shortened when compared with those before treatment, and the levels of motilin and gastrin and gastric evacuation time in the study group were lower and shorter than those in the control group, the differences being statistically significant(P<0.05). The total effective rate of clinical effect was 96.00% in the study group and 82.00% in the control group, the difference being statistically significant(P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 10.00% in the control group and 12.00% in the study group, there being no statistically significant difference between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of Xiaopi Prescription combined with Mosapride Citrate Dispersible Tablets for diabetic gastroparesis can better relieve gastrointestinal symptoms, control glucose metabolism, improve gastric function, shorten gastric evacuation time, and enhance clinical effect.
