Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Wenyang Huayu tang combined with clindamycin phosphate tablets on chronic pelvic inflammatory disease and its effect on levels of inflammatory factors. Methods： A total of 102 patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， with 51 cases in each group. The control group was treated with clindamycin phosphate tablets，and the observation group was additionally treated with Wenyang Huayu tang based on the treatment of the control group. Before and after treatment，the changes of serum tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)，interleukin-6 (IL-6)，C-reactive protein(CRP)，indexes of hemorheology and Chinese medicine syndrome scores were compared between the two groups. The clinical effects in the two groups were evaluated. Results： The clinical effective rate in the observation group was higher than that in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of serum CRP，TNF-α and IL-6 in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the above three levels in the observation group were lower than those in the observation group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of whole blood viscosity， plasma viscosity and fibrinogen(FIB) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the above three levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， the scores of lower abdominal pain， irregular menstruation， abnormal leucorrhea and fatigue and lack of strength in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the above four scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Wenyang Huayu tang combined with clindamycin phosphate tablets for patients with chronic pelvic inflammatory disease can effectively reduce the levels of serum inflammatory factors，improve the indexes of hemorheology，alleviate the clinical symptoms，and enhance the clinical effect.
