Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of Xuduan Jiegu tang on the levels of insulin- like growth factor-1(IGF-1),bone morphogenetic protein-2(BMP-2) and serum T lymphocyte subsets in patients with closed fracture of limbs. Methods: A total of 115 cases of patients with closed fracture of limbs were divided into the routine group and the Chinese medicine group according to different treatment methods, with 57 and 58 cases in each group respectively. The routine group was given routine treatment, and the Chinese medicine group was additionally treated with Xuduan Jiegu tang based on routine treatment. The clinical effects, serum bone metabolites, serum T lymphocyte subsets, hemorheology indexes and incidence of complications in the two groups were compared. Results:The total effective rate was 93.10% in the Chinese medicine group, higher than that of 77.19% in the routine group(P<0.05). After treatment, the levels of bone gla protein(BGP),IGF-1,BMP-2,CD3+,CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and whole blood high shear viscosity, whole blood middle shear viscosity and whole blood low shear viscosity were decreased(P<0.05); the levels of BGP,IGF-1,BMP-2,CD3+,CD4+ and CD4+/CD8+ in the Chinese medicine group were higher than those in the routine group(P<0.05),and whole blood high shear viscosity, whole blood middle shear viscosity and whole blood low shear viscosity were lower(P<0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the incidence of complications between the two groups(P>0.05). Conclusion:Xuduan Jiegu tang for patients with closed fracture of limbs can improve the clinical effect with high safety by promoting the reduction of platelet adhesion and red blood cell aggregation, regulating hemorheology indexes and immune function, improving pain and swelling, and controlling bone metabolism levels.
