Abstract： Objective： To observe the effect of folium ginkgo extract injection combined with acupuncture and moxibustion on cerebral blood flow and blood lipid in patients with ischemic stroke(IS). Methods： A total of 84 cases of IS patients were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group， with 42 cases in each group. The control group was treated with aspirin and oxiracetam， and the observation group was additionally treated with folium ginkgo extract injection combined with acupuncture and moxibustion based on the treatment of the control group. The neurological function and the levels of living ability， cerebral blood flow and blood lipid before and after treatment as well as the total effective rates in the two groups were compared. Results： The total effective rate was 90.48% in the observation group，higher than that of 73.81% in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) and the levels of low- density lipoprotein cholesterol (LDL-C)，total cholesterol(TC) and triglyceride(TG) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the scores of Glasgow Coma Scale(GCS) and the mean blood velocity of anterior cerebral artery(ACA)， posterior cerebral artery(PCA) and middle cerebral artery(MCA) were increased(P＜0.05)；the NIHSS score and the levels of LCL-C，TC and TG in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05)，and the scores of ADL and GCS as well as the mean blood velocity of ACA，PCA and MCA were higher(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of aspirin，oxiracetam and folium ginkgo extract injection combined with acupuncture and moxibustion for IS patients has a better curative effect， and can improve neurological function， increase cerebral blood flow velocity and reduce blood lipid levels.
