Abstract：Diabetic kidney disease(DKD) is a common and serious chronic microvascular complication of diabetes， which has become one of the major diseases threatening human health. Many studies have shown that DKD is closely related to the Chinese medicine constitution. Based on the etiology and pathogenesis of DKD in Chinese medicine， this paper discusses the relationship between susceptible constitution in Chinese medicine and the occurrence and development of DKD， and summarizes the research contents of DKD in Chinese medicine constitution characteristics， syndromes， objective indicators and clinical application of the constitution， to provide some reference for the prevention and treatment of DKD.
