Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Jiangya Tiaozhi prescription combined with nifedipine and rosuvastatin calcium on senile patients with hypertension complicated with hyperlipidemia. Methods： A total of 92 senile patients with hypertension complicated with hyperlipidemia were selected and divided into the treatment group and the control group by simple randomization， with 46 cases in each group. The control group was treated with nifedipine sustained release tablets and rosuvastatin calcium tablets， and the treatment group was additionally treated with Jiangya Tiaozhi prescription based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for eight weeks. The clinical effects，blood pressure，blood lipid levels and the incidence of adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results：The total effective rate was 89.13% in the treatment group，higher than that of 71.74% in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， systolic blood pressure(SBP) and diastolic blood pressure(DBP) in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜ 0.05)，and SBP and DBP in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of low density lipoprotein cholesterol(LDL- C)，triglyceride(TG) and total cholesterol (TC) in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the levels of high density lipoprotein cholesterol(HDL-C) were increased(P＜0.05)；the levels of LDL-C，TG and TC in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05)， and the HDL- C level was higher(P＜0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions in the treatment group was 6.52%，lower than that of 23.91% in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Jiangya Tiaozhi prescription combined with nifedipine and rosuvastatin calcium has a significant therapeutic effect on the treatment of senile hypertension complicated with hyperlipidemia，which can effectively control blood pressure and blood lipids and reduce adverse reactions.
