Abstract:Objective:To observe the changes of the levels of plasma von willebrand factor(vWF) and homocysteine(Hcy) in patients with primary microvascular angina(PMVA) of phlegm-heat stasis obstruction type, and to explore the pathogenesis of PMVA with phlegm- heat stasis obstruction type. Methods: A total of 84 patients with PMVA of phlegm-heat stasis obstruction type were selected and randomly divided into the conventional treatment group and the combined treatment group. The conventional treatment group was treated with conventional medicine according to the condition,and the combined treatment group was additionally treated with Huanglian Wendan tang based on the treatment of conventional medicine. At the same time,43 healthy subjects were selected as the normal control group,and the vWF and Hcy levels of them when being involved in the study were determined,and the vWF and Hcy levels of PMVA patients after five days of treatment were also determined. Results: The level of vWF in the PMVA group was significantly increased when compared with that in the normal control group,the difference being significant (P<0.01),and the level of Hcy in the PMVA group was similar to that in the normal control group,there being no significant difference(P>0.05). The levels of vWF in the combined treatment group and the conventional treatment group were decreased significantly after treatment when compared with those before treatment, differences being significant(P<0.01); After treatment, the level of vWF in the combined treatment group was significantly decreased when compared with that in the normal control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05). The difference of vWF level before and after treatment in the combination treatment group,compared with that in the conventional treatment group,there being no significant difference between the two groups before and after treatment(P>0.05).There was no significant difference in the comparison of Hcy level between the PMVA group and the normal control group(P>0.05). Conclusion: The vWF level of PMVA patients of phlegm- heat stasis obstruction type is significantly increased when compared with that of the normal physical examination group,but the Hcy level is similar. The vWF level of PMVA patients is decreased after treatment when compared with that before treatment. The combined treatment with Huanglian Wendan tang may have a better effect on vWF level than conventional treatment alone.
