Abstract：Prof. WANG Ruiping has made great achievements in the treatment of colorectal cancer with Chinese medicine. Through the analysis of its etiology and pathogenesis，he believes that the occurrence and development of colorectal cancer is closely related to the spleen，lung and liver. The clinical treatment of it focuses on boosting qi and fortifying the spleen， making normal ascending and descending of qi movement， soothing the liver and rectifying qi， dissolving stasis and resolving toxins， directing qi downward and unblocking the bowels，as well as dispelling pathogens. In his prescriptions，he emphasizes the combination of syndrome differentiation and disease differentiation and attaches importance to concurrent syndrome，which achieves a good clinical effect.
