Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Tongbi Yiqi Huoxue tang combined with artery thrombectomy on thromboangiitis obliterans. Methods：A total of 100 patients were randomly divided into the study group and the control group， with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with artery thrombectomy only， and the study group was treated with artery thrombectomy combined with Tongbi Yiqi Huoxue tang. The blood viscosity(BV)，plasma viscosity(PV)，hematocrit(Hct)， erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR)， aggregation index(AI) of red cell， index of red cell deformation (RCD)，blood reduced viscosity(BRV) before and after treatment were compared between the two groups. The clinical effects and the adverse reactions were compared between the two groups. Results：The total effective rate was 98.0% in the study group，higher than that of 88.0% in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， the levels of BV， PV， Hct， AI and BRV in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the levels of ESR and RCD were increased(P＜0.05)； after treatment，the levels of BV，PV，Hct，AI and BRV in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05)，and the levels of ESR and RCD in the study group were higher(P＜0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 2.0% in the study group， lower than that of 14.0% in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of Tongbi Yiqi Huoxue tang combined with artery thrombectomy for patients with thromboangiitis obliterans can significantly improve the clinical effect， reduce the incidence of adverse reactions，and improve the indexes of hemorheology of patients.
