Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of qi and blood theory-based nursing on the prognosis of sepsis patients with acute kidney injury. Methods: A total of 80 sepsis patients with acute kidney injury were randomly divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was given routine nursing, and the observation group was additionally intervened with qi and blood theory- based nursing in addition to the treatment of the control group. Before and after nursing, the scores of Acute Psychology and Chronic Health Evaluation II(APACHE Ⅱ) and Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(SOFA) were compared between the two groups. Results: Before nursing, there was no significant difference being found in the comparisons of scores of APACHE Ⅱ and SOFA between the two groups(P>0.05); after nursing, the above two scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P< 0.05),and the above two scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P< 0.05). Before nursing, there was no significant difference being found in the comparisons of the scores of indexes in SF- 36 scale between the two groups(P>0.05), including psychological function, physical health, social function and material life; after nursing, the scores of psychological function, physical health, social function and material life in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:Nursing care of patients with sepsis complicated with acute renal injury based on Qi and blood theory can significantly improve the health status of patients, delay the organ failure and enhance the quality of life.
