Abstract： Objective： To study the administration rules of FENG Zhirong in treating malignant tumor based on data mining. Methods： The inclusion and exclusion criteria for prescriptions was drew up. The medical records of malignant tumors treated by FENG Zhirong， a famous and experienced Chinese medicine physician，from January 1，2017 to December 31，2019，were collected to establish a prescription database. Medicinals frequency was counted by Excel to extract high- frequency medicinals. SPSS18.0 software was used to mine common couplet medicinals by using Apriori algorithm of association rules for high-frequency medicinals；SPSS Statistics 22.0 was used for factor analysis of high-frequency medicinals to mine core medicinal combinations； through the interview and exchange with FENG Zhirong， the analysis results were revised and supplemented. Results： A total of 686 prescriptions were included， involving 238 medicinals，with a cumulative frequency of 10，973 times and 30 high-frequency medicinals (frequency greater than or equal to 70). A total of 88 medicinal association rules were obtained by high- frequency medicinal association analysis， including 20 couplet medicinals with high clinical value. Ten common factors was extracted by factor analysis， and the cumulative variance contribution rate was 65.508% . Conclusion： In the treatment of malignant tumor， FENG Zhirong follows the basic treatment principle of reinforcing healthy qi to fight against cancer， combines clinical syndrome differentiation with disease identification，uses medicinals accurately with reference to the results of modern pharmacological research， and attaches importance to the use of mdicinals to treat complex and changeable concurrent diseases.
