Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of Mayinglong Hemorrhoid Ointment combined with Hemorrhoid Capsules on the treatment of mixed hemorrhoids. Methods ： A total of 80 patients with mixed hemorrhoids were randomly divided into the control group and the study group， with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Mayinglong Hemorrhoid Ointment，and the study group was additionally treated with Hemorrhoid Capsules based on the treatment of the control group. The overall clinical effects，improvement of clinical symptoms and changes of quality of life in the two groups before and after treatment were observed and compared. Results：The total effective rate was 92.5% in the study group and 70.0% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of symptoms in the two groups，including edema，prolapse，effusion，bleeding， pain and erosion， were decreased when compared with those before treatment， and the scores of the above symptoms in the study group were lower than those in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of emotional function，role function，social function and physical function in GQOLI- 74 in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment， and the above scores in the study group were higher than those in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Hemorrhoid Capsules combined with Mayinglong Hemorrhoid Ointment can improve the clinical therapeutic effect on mixed hemorrhoids and effectively lessen the symptoms of pain，edema，prolapse，effusion，bleeding，pain and erosion，which can improve the quality of life of patients.
