Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Jieyu Anshen tang combined with fluoxetine on postpartum depression and its effect on secretion of milk and sleep quality. Methods:A total of 106 patients with postpartum depression were selected and divided into the experiment group and the control group according to the random number table method,with 53 cases in each group. The control group was treated with fluoxetine,and the experiment group was additionally treated with Jieyu Anshen tang based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for two weeks. Before and after treatment,the scores of Chinese medicine symptoms, Hamilton Rating Scale for Depression(HAMD) and Hamilton Anxiety Rating Scale (HAMA),secretion of milk and scores of Pittsburgh Sleep Quality Index (PSQI) were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment,the scores of Chinese medicine syndrome in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the experiment group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment,the scores of HAMA and HAMD in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above two scores in the experiment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the secretion of milk in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the secretion of milk in the experiment group was more than that in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the scores of sleep quality, sleep time, sleep duration,sleep efficiency,sleep disorder and daytime dysfunction in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and each above score of PSQI in the experiment group were lower than those in the control group respectively(P<0.05). Conclusion: Jieyu Anshen tang combined with fluoxetine for postpartum depression can improve the clinical symptoms of patients,reduce the degree of depression,increase the secretion of milk and improve the sleep quality.
