Abstract: Objective: To analyze the use of Chinese medicine injections in inpatients of Guangdong Hospital of Traditional Chinese Medicine. Methods: The medical records of 608 inpatients using Chinese medicine injections were analyzed. According to the Basic Principles of Clinical Use of Chinese Medicine Injections and the Chinese medicine instructions, the patient's gender, age, department of Chinese medicine injections use, frequency of Chinese medicine injections and rationality of medicine use were statistically analyzed. Results:Most of 608 patients were over 60 years old,accounting for 71.71%. The departments with more cases were observation ward,dialysis ward,intervention ward,general ward and arrhythmia department. A total of 20 kinds of Chinese medicine injections were used,and Shenfu Injection was the most frequently used. There were 81 cases of irrational use of Chinese medicine injections, accounting for 13.3%. The types of irrational medicine use included unsuitable indications(37.0%),unsuitable incompatible concentration(35.8%),unsuitable dosage(16.1%) and unsuitable course of treatment(11.1%). Conclusion:There are still some unreasonable problems in the use of Chinese medicine injections,and it is necessary to continuously improve the professional level of doctors, pharmacists and nurses, and improve the management level to ensure rational medicine use in clinic.
