Abstract： Objective： To observe the effect of Kouyanqing granules combined with adenosine monophosphate for children with herpetic stomatitis of yin deficiency with effulgent fire type. Methods：A total of 130 cases of children with herpetic stomatitis of yin deficiency with effulgent fire type were selected as the research objects， and were divided into the control group and the study group randomly ， with 65 cases in each group. Both groups were given routine nursing and treatment such as antipyretic， diet guidance and oral cleaning，and treated with adenosine monophosphate；the study group was additionally given the oral administration of Kouyanqing granules. Both groups were treated for seven days. The clinical effects in the two groups were evaluated，and the improvement time of clinical symptoms was recorded； the levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)，high-sensitivity C-reactive protein(hs-CRP) and interleukin- 6(IL- 6) in serum before and after treatment were detected； the incidence of adverse reactions during treatment and the recurrence within three months of follow-up were observed. Results：After seven days of treatment，the total effective rate of the study group(93.85%) was higher than that of the control group (76.92%) (P＜0.01). The fever regression cycle，herpes skin lesion healing cycle，diet recovery cycle and salivation disappearance cycle of the study group were shorter than those of the control group(P＜0.01). The levels of TNF-α，hs-CRP and IL-6 in both group were lower than those before treatment(P＜0.01)，and the levels of three indexes in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.01). There was no significant difference in the total incidence of adverse drug reactions between the study group (12.31%) and the control group(9.23%)(P＞0.05). The recurrence rate of the observation group(3.08%) was lower than that of the control group(13.85% ) (P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Kouyanqing granules combined with adenosine monophosphate for children with herpetic stomatitis of yin deficiency with effulgent fire type can effectively improve the clinical effect， shorten the improvement period of clinical symptoms，reduce the degree of inflammatory responses and prevent the recurrence of the disease，with high safety.
