Abstract: The theory of "six kinds of blockage" in the etiology of spinal diseases is a valuable summary of experience based on years of clinical practice by Prof. WEI Guikang,a Chinese medicine master. After clinically studying from Prof. WEI, Prof. SHAO Min combines with his own own clinical experience and puts forward that the theory of "six kinds of blockage" is also applicable to the diagnosis and treatment of knee impediment diseases. In the current background of precision medical care, the rethinking of the theory of "six kinds of blockage" in knee impediment diseases from the perspective of musculoskeletal ultrasound has theoretical value and practical significance. Since musculoskeletal ultrasound has advantages of better resolution and dynamic contrast imaging of soft tissues around the knee,it can help determine the localization and characterization of the targets of "six kinds of blockage" in knee impediment diseases, and provide visual reference and auxiliary guidance for acupuncture, acupotomy, manipulation and other treatment methods.
