Abstract： Postoperative tidal fever of breast cancer is common and difficult to treat. Its etiology and pathogenesis are complex and diverse，mainly including the liver-kidney deficiency，plus surgical trauma，adverse reactions of radiotherapy， chemotherapy and endocrine therapy，induction of adverse emotions，unclear residual toxins，etc. Various factors affect the body for a long time，resulting in dysfunction of the heart，the liver and the kidney，leading to the occurrence of tidal fever. The syndrome differentiation and treatment can be divided into four types，namely heart fire flaming upward and insufficient kidney water，ascendant hyperactivity of liver yang and insufficient kidney water，heart fire flaming upward and kidney yang deficiency，and the liver-kidney deficiency and phlegm-heat harassing the interior. The main method is to reinforce healthy qi and dispel pathogen， and Ru'ai Shuhou prescription is put forward based on methods of boosting qi and nourishing yin， regulate thoroughfare and conception vessels and activating blood and detoxifying；based on syndrome differentiation，the modification of the prescription mentioned above can help achieve good effects.
