Abstract：Objective：To observe the curative effect of modified Xiaoyao granules combined with gonadotropin releasing hormone agonist(GnRH-a) for endometriosis. Methods：A total of 80 cases of patients with endometriosis were divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method，with 40 cases in each group. The control group was treated with leuprolide acetate microspheres， and the treatment group was additionally given the oral administration of modified Xiaoyao granules based on the treatment of the control group. After 12 weeks of continuous treatment，Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) scores，serum carbohydrate antigen 125(CA125) levels and clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Results：The total effective rate was 92.5% in the treatment group and 72.5% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，VAS scores in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the VAS score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of serum CA125 in the two groups were significantly decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the level of serum CA125 in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of modified Xiaoyao granules combined with GnRH- a has a significant curative effect in the treatment of endometriosis，which can effectively relieve the pain，and improve the levels of serum CA125.
