Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of ginkgo damol combined with alprostadil on acute ischemic stroke(AIS). Methods:A total of 80 AIS patients were selected and divided into the control group and the experiment group by random number table method, with 40 cases in each group. The control group was injected with alprostadil, and the experiment group was additionally injected with ginkgo damol based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for 14 days. The levels of hemorheological indexes including whole blood high shear viscosity, whole blood low shear viscosity, plasma viscosity(PV),hematocrit(HCT),erythrocyte sedimentation rate(ESR) and D-dimer(D-D),platelet activity markers including PAC- 1, CD62P and CD63, inflammatory factors including tumor necrosis factor- α(TNF- α), interleukin(IL)- 6 and hypersensitive C- reactive protein(hs- CRP),and the National Institutes of Health Stroke Scale(NIHSS) scores were compared between the two groups. Results:After treatment, the levels of whole blood high shear viscosity, whole blood low shear viscosity, PV, HCT, ESR, D- D, PAC- 1, CD62P, CD63, TNF- α, IL- 6 and hs- CRP in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above levels in the experiment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the NIHSS scores in both groups were lower than those before treatment(P<0.05),and the NIHSS score in the experiment group was lower than that in the control group(P< 0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of ginkgo damol combined with alprostadil can effectively improve the hemorheology and platelet activity of patients with AIS,inhibit the body's inflammatory responses, and promote the recovery of nerve function.
