Abstract：In combination with years of clinical experience in gynecology，Professor HU Guohua summarizes the etiology and pathogenesis of infertility caused by diminished ovarian reserve into three aspects，“the kidney deficiency as the root” “Chong- Ren debility as the key” and “body and spirit disorder as harm”. The treatment principle is “taking the interior balance as the expectation”；By “regulating body，menstruation and spirit” as method which is flexibly used throughout the two stages，namely the stage of “consolidating the foundation of the body before pregnancy” and that of “preventing miscarriage after conception”；the medication is accurate，simple，and flexible，and the clinical effect is significant.
