Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Bushen Huoxue Huayu tang combined with gestrinone capsules for endometriosis(EMS) complicated with sterility after laparoscopy. Methods： A total of 74 cases of patients with EMS complicated with sterility to be treated by surgery were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method， with 74 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with laparoscopic excision of ectopic cyst. One week after surgery，the control group was given the oral administration of gestrinone capsules， and the observation group was additionally treated with Bushen Huoxue Huayu tang based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for six menstrual cycles. The levels of sex hormones in serum including luteinizing hormone (LH)，follicle stimulating hormone(FSH) and estrogen(E2) before and after treatment，as well as the clinical effects in the two groups were compared. During the two-year follow-up，the recurrence rates and pregnancy rates were compared. Results： The total clinical effective rate was 95.74% in the observation group，higher than that of 82.98% in the control group，the difference being significant(χ 2=4.03，P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of sex hormones in serum including FSH，LH and E2 in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the levels of sex hormones in serum including FSH，LH and E2 in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). During the two- year follow- up， the recurrence rate was 8.89% in the observation group， lower than that of 28.21% in the control group， the difference being significant(χ 2=3.89， P＜0.05). The pregnancy success rate was 46.81% in the observation group， higher than that of 25.53% in the control group， the difference being significant(χ 2=4.61， P＜0.05). Conclusion： Bushen Huoxue Huayu tang combined with gestrinone capsules has a definite curative effect in treating EMS complicated with sterility after laparoscopy， and it can not only reduce the levels of FSH， LH and E2 in serum， but also prevent the recurrence of the disease and improve pregnancy success rates.
