Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Xingqi Huoxue Xiaozheng prescription assisting mifepristone for ectopic pregnancy and its effect on serum β-human chorionic gonadotropin(β-HCG) levels. Methods：A total of 60 cases of patients with ectopic pregnancy were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method，with 30 cases in each group. The control group was treated with mifepristone，and the observation group was additionally treated with Xingqi Huoxue Xiaozheng prescription based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects，the improvement time of symptoms，and the levels of serum β- hCG and inflammatory factors in the two groups were compared. Results：The total effective rate was 96.67% in the observation group，higher than that of 76.67% in the control group(P＜0.05). The time of β- HCG turning negative，disappearing of abdominal pain and blocks，and stopping bleeding in vagina in the observation group was shorter than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Before treatment，there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of serum β-HCG，progesterone，interleukin-6(IL-6) and C-reactive protein(CRP) between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment，the levels of serum β-HCG，progesterone，IL-6 and CRP in the two groups were lower than those before treatment，and the levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：Xingqi Huoxue Xiaozheng prescription assisting mifepristone has a significant curative effect in treating ectopic pregnancy，and is helpful to promote the improvement of symptoms，reduce levels of hormone， and relieve inflammatory responses in the body.
