Abstract：Objective：To observe the effect of the therapy of Huangqi Sijunzi tang combined with insulin on the serum biochemical indexes and pregnancy outcome of patients with gestational diabetes. Methods： A total of 101 patients with gestational diabetes were selected for retrospective analysis， and were divided into the observation group and the control group according to different treatment regimens， with 52 and 49 cases in each group respectively. The control group was treated with routine diet and exercise as well as insulin， and the observation group was additionally treated with Huangqi Sijunzi tang based on the treatment of the control group. The curative effect and pregnancy outcome were compared between the two groups after treatment， and the levels of fasting blood glucose(FBG)， postprandial 2h blood glucose(P2hBG) and glycosylated hemoglobin(HbA1c) were detected before and after treatment. Results： The therapeutic effect in the observation group was significantly better than that in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). The rates of premature delivery， cesarean section， polyhydramnios and neonatal distress in the observation group were lower than those in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of FBG，P2hBG and HbA1c in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the above levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： The therapy of Huangqi Sijunzi tang combined with insulin has a significant therapeutic effect on patients with gestational diabetes，which can effectively control blood glucose levels and reduce the risk of adverse pregnancy outcome.
