Abstract：To explore and analyze the theoretical basis and clinical effect of the therapy of Tongxie Yaofang prescription and modified Sijunzi tang on restless legs syndrome of liver constraint and spleen deficiency type. According to the analysis， restless legs syndrome belongs to the categories of impediment syndrome， foot soreness and distention， leg soreness， etc. The etiology and pathogenesis of the disease are mostly related to the liver，spleen and kidney，with deficiency-excess complex and deficiency in the root and excess in the branch. The therapy of Tongxie Yaofang prescription and modified Sijunzi tang has a significant therapeutic effect on restless legs syndrome of liver constraint and spleen deficiency type.
