Abstract：Objective：To observe the respective clinical effect of the therapies of Kangfuxin liquid and Yunnan Baiyao on gingivitis. Methods：A total of 100 patients with gingivitis were selected and divided into the study group and the control group according to the random number table method，with 50 cases in each group. The control group was treated with Kangfuxin liquid，and the study group was treated with Yunnan Baiyao. The clinical effects in the two groups were compared. The levels of tumor necrosis factor-α(TNF-α)，interleukin-1β(IL-1β)，interleukin-6(IL-6) and interleukin-8(IL-8) in gingival crevicular fluid were detected，and the treatment satisfaction of patients was counted. Results：The total effective rate was 98.00% in the study group， higher than that of 82.00% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Before treatment，there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the levels of TNF-α，IL-1β，IL-6 and IL-8 in gingival crevicular fluid between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment， the above levels in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the above levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). The total satisfaction was 98.00% in the study group，higher than that of 86.00% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Both therapies of Kangfuxin liquid and Yunnan Baiyao have good effects on oral gingivitis，but the therapy of Yunnan Baiyao has a more significant effect on oral gingivitis， which can greatly reduce the levels of serum inflammatory factors and improve the satisfaction of patients.
