Abstract：This paper introduces the clinical experience of Director LEI Xiaoning in the treatment of community-acquired pneumonia of phlegm-heat accumulated in the lung type with Qingre Huatan Xuanfei mixture. Director LEI Xiaoning believes that community-acquired pneumonia belongs to the category of cough in Chinese medicine. In clinical practice，phlegm-heat accumulated in the lung type is the most common one among excess syndromes. From the perspectives of principles， methods， formulas， and medicinals， Qingre Huatan Xuanfei mixture meets the pathogenesis of community- acquired pneumonia of phlegm-heat accumulated in the lung type，thus obtaining a good effect.
