Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Qingre Fuzheng Tongfu tang combined with western medicine for sepsis, and its effect on inflammatory responses and gastrointestinal function. Methods:A total of 90 cases of patients with sepsis were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method, with 45 cases in each group. Both groups were given breath support, enteral nutrition support and antibiotics;the control group was additionally treated with mosapride citrate tablets combined with bifidobacterium triple viable capsules, and the observation group was additionally treated with Qingre Fuzheng Tongfu tang based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for one week. The levels of C-reactive protein (CRP),plasma calcitonin (PCT),diamine oxidase (DAO) and D-lactate (D-LAC),the scores of Acute Physiology and Chronic Health EvaluationⅡ(APACHEⅡ) ,the intra-abdominal pressure and the gastric retention before and after treatment and the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups were compared. Results:After treatment, the levels of CRP,PCT,DAO and D- LAC and the scores of APACHEⅡ in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the levels of CRP, PCT, DAO and D- LAC and the APACHE Ⅱ score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the intra-abdominal pressure and gastric retention in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P<0.05),and the intra-abdominal pressure and gastric retention in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 11.11% (5/45) in the observation group and 33.33% (15/45) in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: Qingre Fuzheng Tongfu tang combined with western medicine for sepsis can effectively inhibit inflammatory responses, and reduce intra- abdominal pressure and gastric retention, and has a positive effect on improving gastrointestinal function and prognosis, with high safety.
