Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of Xuebijing injection combined with continuous renal replacement therapy(CRRT) for sepsis complicated with multiple organ dysfunction. Methods：A total of 100 cases of patients with sepsis complicated with multiple organ dysfunction were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method， with 50 cases in each group. The observation group was treated with Xuebijing injection combined with CRRT，and the control group was simply treated with CRRT. Both groups were treated for one week. The levels of procalcitonin(PCT)， C- reactive protein(CRP)， blood lactate(LAC)， and the scores of Acute Physiology and Chronic Health Evaluation Ⅱ(APACHEⅡ)，Sequential Organ Failure Assessment(SOFA) and 36- Item Short Form Health Survey(SF- 36) before and after treatment and the clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Results： The total effective rate was 98.00% in the observation group，higher than that of 86.00% in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the levels of CRP，PCT and LAC in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment (P＜0.05)，and the levels of CRP，PCT and LAC in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment，the scores of APACHEⅡ and SOFA in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the scores of APACHEⅡ and SOFA in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， the scores of social function， physiological role， mental health， physiological function， general health status，emotional function，physical pain and vigor in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)， and the above scores in SF- 36 in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion： Xuebijing injection combined with CRRT for sepsis complicated with multiple organ dysfunction can improve the clinical effect，health status of the body and quality of life，and reduce the levels of inflammatory factors.
