Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Lingze tablets combined with tamsulosin hydrochloride for benigh prostatic hyperplasia(BPH) of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type. Methods：A total of 84 cases of BPH patients of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type were selected and divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method， with 42 cases in each group. Both groups were given tamsulosin hydrochloride sustained release capsules， and the treatment group was treated with tamsulosin capsules and Lingze tablets. Both groups were treated for four weeks. Clinical effects，scores of nocturia frequency and International Prostate Symptom Score(IPSS)，and urine flow rates were compared between the two groups. Results： The total effective rate was 97.62% in the treatment group， and 85.71% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Before treatment， there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of scores of nocturia frequency and IPSS between the two groups(P＞ 0.05). After treatment，scores of nocturia frequency and IPSS in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the two scores in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Before treatment， there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of urine flow rates between the two groups(P＞0.05). After treatment， urine flow rates in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05)，and the rate in the treatment groups was higher than that in the control group(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of Lingze tablets combined with tamsulosin hydrochloride has a good clinical effect in the treatment of BPH of kidney deficiency and blood stasis type，which can alleviate symptoms，reduce nocturia frequency，and increase urine flow rate. Its curative effect is better than that of simple tamsulosin hydrochloride.
