Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Xinmailong injection combined with western medicine for chronic heart failure caused by valvular heart disease. Methods:A total of 120 cases of patients with chronic heart failure caused by valvular heart disease were randomly divided into the experiment group and the control group, with 60 cases in each group. The control group was treated with western medicine, and the experiment group was additionally treated with Xinmailong injection based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for four weeks. The levels of left ventricular ejection fraction(LVEF) and B- type natriuretic peptide(BNP) before and after treatment and the clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Results:After treatment, the LVEF levels in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the BNP levels were decreased(P<0.05);the LVEF level in the experiment group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the BNP level was lower(P<0.05). The total effective rate was 93.3% in the experiment group and 75.0% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: Xinmailong injection combined with werstern medicine for chronic heart failure caused by valvular heart disease can increase left ventricular ejection volume and reduce BNP levels, whose curative effect is better than that of simple western medicine.
