Abstract：After sorting out the treatment experience of relevant physicians，it is considered that a flexible application of physicians’ experience based on overall syndrome differentiation can enhance clinical effects in the Chinese medicine treatment of skin lesions in systemic lupus erythematosus. First，the common syndrome of systemic lupus erythematosus is exuberant heat toxin syndrome，and the treatment should focus on clearing heat and cooling the blood，assisted by Chinese medicines that can clear heat and detoxify as well as clear hear from the qi level. Second，blood stasis is generally a persistent problem in the development of the disease and an important cause of skin lesions， which can be treated by Chinese medicines that can nourish and harmonize the blood as well as break the blood and eliminate mass. Third， the method of clearing the lung and dispelling wind is very effective in the treatment of pathogens from the exterior and in the upper energizer，especially for the rash on the head and face. Fourth，flower medicine is light and good at clearing and dissolving， and its effects of clearing heat and detoxifying as well as moving qi and activating blood can help achieve a result of venting pathogen by cooling.
