Abstract： Objective： To observe the clinical effect of the therapy of magnetic point application combined with rehabilitation nursing on rheumatoid arthritis. Methods： A total of 80 patients with rheumatoid arthritis were selected and divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method， with 40 cases in each group. On the basis of conventional western medicine treatment，the observation group was additionally given magnetic point application combined with rehabilitation nursing，and the control group was additionally given conventional nursing. The clinical effect and incidence of adverse reactions(vomiting，diarrhea，nausea，etc.) were observed and compared between the two groups，and the changes in the scores of Visual Analog Scale(VAS)，Daily Living Ability(ADL) and quality of life via Short Form 36 of health surey questionnaire(SF- 36) before and after nursing were compared between the two groups. Results：The total effective rate was 95.00% in the observation group and 82.50% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05)，and the ADL scores in the observation group were significantly higher than that in the control group(P＜ 0.05). Before nursing，there was no significant difference in the VAS and ADL scores between the two groups(P＞0.05). After nursing，the VAS scores in the observation group were significantly lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). Before nursing， there was no significant difference in the scores of physiological function， physical pain， health status， social function and mental health between the two groups(P＞0.05)；after nursing，the above scores in the observation group were significantly higher than those in the control group(P＜0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 7.50% in the observation group and 17.50% in the control group，the difference being significant(P＜0.05). Conclusion：The therapy of magnetic point application combined with rehabilitation nursing has a significant effect on the treatment of rheumatoid arthritis，which can significantly reduce joint pain，improve the daily living ability and quality of life of patients，and has fewer adverse reactions.
