Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Congrong Yishen granules on the adjuvant treatment of limb fractures. Methods: A total of 116 patients with limb fractures were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to random number table method,with 58 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with reduction operation and/or polymer plaster external fixation,and the plaster was removed four weeks later. The control group was additionally given rehabilitation exercise,oral vitamin D drops and oyster calcium carbonate chewable tablets,while the observation group was additionally treated with Congrong Yishen granules,both groups were treated for eight consecutive weeks. The scores of Chinese medicine syndrome and quality of life were compared between the two groups before and after treatment. Results:After treatment,the scores of waist and knee soreness and pain,weakness and fatigue,dizziness, dry mouth and pharynx,tinnitus,insomnia and multiple dreams in both groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the scores of Chinese medicine syndrome in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the physiological, psychological, environmental and social scores in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the physiological, psychological, environmental and social scores in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Congrong Yishen granules can improve clinical symptoms and quality of life of patients with limb fractures.
