Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Shexiang Baoxin pills combined with isosorbide mononitrate for coronary heart disease. Methods:A total of 126 cases of patients with coronary heart disease were selected and divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method,with 63 cases in each group. The control group was treated with isosorbide mononitrate sustained release tablets,and the observation group was additionally treated with Shexiang Baoxin pills based on the treatment of the control group. Both groups were treated for two months. The angina attacks,coronary artery flow and blood lipid levels before and after treatment as well as the clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Results:After treatment,the frequency of angina attacks in the two groups was decreased when compared with that before treatment(P<0.05),and the duration of angina pectoris was shortened(P<0.05);the frequency of angina attacks in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05), and the duration of angina pectoris was shorter(P<0.05). After treatment,peak systolic velocity and peak diastolic velocity of coronary artery in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05); peak systolic velocity and peak diastolic velocity of coronary artery in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment,the levels of total cholesterol(TC), triglyceride(TG) and low density lipoprotein(LDL) in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the levels of high density lipoprotein(HDL) were increased(P<0.05); the levels of TC,TG and LDL in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and HDL level was higher(P<0.05). The clinical effect in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The therapy of Shexiang Baoxin pills combined with isosorbide mononitrate for coronary heart disease can alleviate angina attacks,improve coronary artery flow,and regulate blood lipid levels.
