Abstract： The incidence of infertility is always associated with "kidney- heavenly tenth- thoroughfare and conception vessels- reproductive axis of uterus". Considering the prevailing situation of fast pace of life and great pressure from family， work and society，Prof. ZHAN believes that emotional pathogenic factors should not be ignored in the treatment of infertility. Therefore，on the basis of traditional treatment like tonifying the kidney and regulating thoroughfare and conception vessels， Prof. ZHAN emphasizes the important role of liver in the treatment of infertility and proposes to treat infertility from the perspective of liver.
