Curative Effect of Modified Lizhong Tang for Gastrointestinal Dysfunction After Operation for Gastric Cancer and Its Effect on Early Recovery of Gastrointestinal Function
Abstract:Objective:To observe the curative effect of modified Lizhong tang for gastrointestinal dysfunction of spleenstomach deficiency cold type after operation for gastric cancer and its effect on early recovery of gastrointestinal function. Methods:A total of 83 cases of patients after operation for gastric cancer were selected and divided into the treatment group and the control group according to the random number table method, with 43 and 40 cases in each group respectively. The control group was given routine symptomatic and supportive treatment, and the treatment group was additionally given the oral administration of modified Lizhong tang based on the treatment of the control group. After treatment, the clinical effects and the recovery time of gastrointestinal function in the two groups were evaluated. Before and after treatment, Chinese medicine syndrome scores and the levels of gastrin(GAS) and motilin(MTL) in serum in the two groups were compared. Results:The total clinical effective rate was 93.02% in the treatment group, significantly higher than that of 72.50% in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the levels of GAS and MTL in serum were increased(P<0.05). After treatment,Chinese medicine syndrome score in the treatment group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05),and the levels of GAS and MTL in serum were higher(P<0.05). The recovery time of bowel sounds, the first exhaust time and the first defecation time in the treatment group were shorter than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Modified Lizhong tang for gastrointestinal dysfunction after operation for gastric cancer has a significant effect, and can relieve the clinical symptoms of patients, promote the recovery of postoperative gastrointestinal function and improve the gastrointestinal function indexes.
