Abstract：Objective：To observe the clinical effect of Jianpi Qingshi tang combined with mosapril tablets for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with gastroparesis. Methods： A total of 94 cases of patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with gastroparesis were selected as the study subjects， and were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method，with 47 cases in each group. The control group was simply treated with mosapril tablets，and the observation group was treated with Jianpi Qingshi tang combined with mosapril tablets. The changes in blood glucose values，motilin and gastrin levels，and the Chinese medicine syndrome scores before and after treatment， as well as the incidence of adverse reactions during treatment in the two groups were compared. Results：After treatment，the values of fasting blood glucose and postprandial 2 h blood glucose，the levels of motilin and gastrin in serum and the Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P＜0.05). After treatment， the values of fasting blood glucose and postprandial 2 h blood glucose， the levels of motilin and gastrin in serum and the Chinese medicine syndrome score in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P＜0.05). There was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the incidence of adverse reactions between the two groups(P＞0.05). Conclusion： Jianpi Qingshi tang combined with mosapril tablets can reduce the blood glucose level for patients with type 2 diabetes mellitus complicated with gastroparesis， and can better promote their gastric emission function and relieve their clinical symptoms.
