Clinical Study on Characteristic Therapy of Chinese Medicine in the Prevention for Postoperative Complications of Anorectal Surgery with Lumbar Point Anesthesia
Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of the characteristic therapy of Chinese medicine on the prevention of postoperative complications of anorectal surgery with lumbar point anesthesia. Methods: A total of 132 patients who had undergone anorectal surgery with lumbar point anesthesia were selected to conduct a prospective cohort study, and were randomly divided into the control group and the observation group, with 66 cases in each group. The control group was given routine treatment of perioperative period, and the observation group was additionally treated with characteristic therapy of Chinese medicine including auricular point pressing with beans, moxibustion and Chinese herbal fumigation and washing based on the treatment of the control group. The scores of postoperative complications before and after treatment and clinical effects in the two groups were compared. The disappearance time of clinical symptoms and hospitalization time in the two groups were recorded, and the satisfaction was evaluated. Results:The total effective rate was 96.97% in the observation group, significantly higher than that of 86.36% in the control group(P<0.05). The scores of pain in wound, wound edema, wound bleeding, anal bulge and anal wetness and total scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those after treatment(P<0.05); the above scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). After treatment, the disappearance time of edema and pain and time of wound healing, exudation disappearance and hospital stay in the observation group were shorter than that in the control group(P<0.05). The score of treatment satisfaction in the observation group was significantly higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: The characteristic therapy of Chinese medicine can effectively prevent the postoperative complications of anorectal surgery with lumbar point anesthesia, promote the recovery of related symptoms in patients, facilitate the discharge and improve the satisfaction, with a definite clinical effect.
