Abstract:Objective:To observe the effect of Erjin tang combined with western medicine for bile reflux gastritis(BRG) on gastrointestinal hormones and bile reflux. Methods:A total of 112 cases of patients with BRG were divided into the control group and the treatment group according to the simple random number table method, with 56 cases in each group. The control group was treated with conventional western medicine, and the treatment group was additionally treated with Erjin tang based on the treatment of the control group. The Chinese medicine syndrome scores, degrees of BRG and levels of gastrointestinal hormones before and after treatment as well as the clinical effects in the two groups were compared. Results:The total clinical effective rate was 96.43% in the treatment group, higher than that of 83.93% in the control group (P<0.05). After treatment, the Chinese medicine syndrome scores and gastrin(GAS) levels in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the levels of epidermal growth factor(EGF) and somatostatin(SS) were increased(P<0.05);the Chinese medicine syndrome score and GAS level in the treatment group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05),and levels of EGF and SS were higher(P<0.05). After treatment, the degrees of BRG in the two groups were significantly improved when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05);the improvement of degree of BRG in the treatment group was more obvious than that in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:The therapy of Erjin tang combined with western medicine has a significant curative effect in the treatment of patients with BRG, which can alleviate the clinical symptoms, reduce the degree of bile reflux and improve the levels of gastrointestinal hormones.
