Abstract：Cortex Moutan is one of the commonly used traditional Chinese medicine in clinic. Paeonol， as an important active component，has been studied in many modern pharmacological studies. Combined with the literatures on the relevant pharmacological effects and application of skin diseases at home and abroad，this paper summarizes paeonol，summarizes its relevant mechanism，and provides more ideas for its further research.
