Abstract： Objective： To observe the curative effect of Duhuo Jisheng tang combined with acupotomy for cervical spondylotic radiculopathy(CSR) patients. Methods：A total of 76 cases of CSR patients were divided into the control group and the observation group， 38 cases in each group. The control group was given acupotomy combined with routine western medicine，and the observation group was given acupotomy combined with Duhuo Jisheng tang. The curative effect as well as changes in Chinese medicine syndrome score and the score of Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) were observed. Results：The total effective rate was 78.95% in the control group，and 97.37% in the observation group，the difference being significant(P＜ 0.05). After treatment， scores of VAS in the two groups were decreased， and the change in the score in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P＜0.05). After treatment， Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the two groups were decreased，but the change in the score in the observation group was better than that in the control group(P＜ 0.05). Conclusion： Duhuo Jisheng tang combined with acupotomy has a clear effect on CSR patients， and relieves their clinical symptoms.
