Abstract：Objectives：To observe the effect of Shenqi Dihuang tang combined with alfacalcidol soft capsules on levels of inflammatory factors，urinary microalbumin(mAlb) and hormones in patients with diabetic nephropathy. Methods：A total of 144 cases of patients with diabetic nephropathy were divided into the control group and the observation group according to the random number table method， with 72 cases in each group. The control group was treated with the oral administration of alfacalcidol soft capsule based on the conventional treatment，and the observation group was additionally treated with Shenqi Dihuang tang based on the treatment of the control group. The clinical effects in the two groups were observed. Before and after treatment， the levels of inflammatory factors [tumor necrosis factor- α(TNF- α)， serum high- sensitivity C- reactive protein(hs- CRP)]， renal function [urinary nitrogen(BUN)， serum creatinine(SCr)]， mAlb， urinary albumin excretion rate (UAER)， hormones [fasting insulin(FINS)， Homeostatic Model Assessment- Insulin Resistance(HOMA- IR)]， and Chinese medicine syndrome scores in the two groups were compared. During treatment，the incidence of adverse reactions in the two groups was observed. Results：After treatment，the levels of TNF- α and hs- CRP in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，and the above two levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment， levels of BUN and SCr in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，and the two levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment， levels of mAlb and UAER in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，and the two levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group，differences being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment，levels of FINS and HOMA-IR in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment，and the two levels in the observation group were lower than those in the control group，differences being significant(P＜0.05). The total effective rate was 94.44% in the observation group， and was 83.33% in the control group， the difference being significant(P＜0.05). After treatment， the main and secondary symptom scores of Chinese medicine symptom scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment， and the above two scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group， differences being significant(P＜0.05). The incidence of adverse reactions was 8.33% in the control group，higher than that of 4.17% in the observation group， there being no significance in the difference(P＞0.05). Conclusion： Shenqi Dihuang tang combined with alfacalcidol soft capsules for diabetic nephropathy has a good clinical effect，which can control the levels of inflammatory factors and hormones in patients，and improve their kidney function，with a high safety.
