Abstract： This paper introduces the experience of Professor WANG Shuchen in treating allergic rhinitis from lung and kidney. Professor WANG Shuchen believes that insufficiency of kidney essence， kidney yang deficiency and insecurity of lung- wei are the key mechanisms of allergic rhinitis； liver depression and qi stagnation and inhibited qi movement due to chronic disease are the important mechanisms；wind pathogen invading noses is an important cause. Often starting from lung and kidney， the treatments include warming kidney yang， replenishing essential qi， consolidating lung- wei， as well as clearing nose orifices，and combine with regulating qi movement，soothing liver and relieving depression，searching wind and clearing collaterals，and dispelling and dispersing wind to clear orifices.
