Abstract: Objective: To observe the clinical effect of Chinese medicine characteristic nursing on the intervention of peptic ulcer. Methods:A total of 80 patients with peptic ulcer were selected and randomly divided into the observation group and the control group, 40 cases in each group. The observation group was given emotional nursing, Chinese herbal application and point massage, and the control group was given routine nursing. Both groups were nursing for one month. The clinical effect and nursing satisfaction in the two groups were compared;the scores of Hamilton Anxiety Scale(HAMA), Hamilton Depression Scale(HAMD) and Short Form of Health Survey(SF- 36) before and after nursing were compared between the two groups. Results:The total effective rate was 92.5% in the observation group, higher than that of 75.0% in the control group(P<0.05). The nursing satisfaction was 95.0% in the observation group, higher than that of 77.5% in the control group(P<0.05). After nursing, scores of HAMA and HAMD in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before nursing(P<0.05),and the above two scores in the observation group were lower than those in the control group (P<0.05). After nursing, the scores of physiological function, role- physical and emotional function in both groups were increased when compared with those before nursing(P<0.05),and the scores of the above indexes in the observation group were higher than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion:Chinese medicine characteristic nursing for peptic ulcer can improve the clinical effect and nursing satisfaction, relieve the anxiety and depression of patients, and improve their quality of life.
