Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of tuina combined with exercise rehabilitation training for patients with meniscus injury of knee joint. Methods:A total of 80 cases of patients with meniscus injury of knee joint were divided into the observation group and the control group according to the random number table method,40 cases in each group. The control group was intervened with exercise rehabilitation training, and the observation group was additionally treated with tuina based on the treatment of the control group. After two-month treatment,the clinical effect in the two groups was observed and compared. The changes in knee joint function before and after treatment were evaluated by Lysholm Knee Scale,and the degree of pain in the two groups before and after treatment by Visual Analogue Scale(VAS) scores. The time of returning to normal life in the two groups was recorded. Results:The total clinical effective rate was 82.50% in the observation group and 55.00% in the control group,the difference being significant(P<0.05). Before treatment,there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the scores of Lysholm Knee Scale(P>0.05). After treatment,the scores of Lysholm Knee Scale in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and the score in the observation group was higher than that in the control group(P<0.05). Before treatment,there was no significant difference being found in the comparison of the VAS scores(P>0.05). After treatment, the VAS scores in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the score in the observation group was lower than that in the control group(P<0.05). The time of returning to normal life was 32.17±4.97 days in the observation group and 39.85± 5.93 days in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Conclusion: Tuina combined with exercise rehabilitation training for patients with meniscus injury of knee joint has better clinical effect,which can relieve articular pain, improve the recovery of knee joint function and shorten the rehabilitation time.
