Abstract:Objective:To observe the clinical effect of Fuyuan Huoxue tang on liver cirrhosis and its effect on liver function and liver fibrosis. Methods:A total of 74 cases with liver cirrhosis were selected and randomly divided into the control group and the study group, 37 cases in each group. Both groups were treated with routine liver- protection medicine, such as Ganlixin tablets(diammonium glycyrrhizinate tablets);the control group was additionally treated with Danshen injection, and the study group was additionally treated with Fuyuan Huoxue tang. After 30-day treatment, the clinical effect was observed and compared between the two groups; the changes in the liver function and indexes of liver fibrosis were observed and compared in the two groups before and after treatment. Results:The total effective rate was 94.59% in the study group, and 78.38% in the control group, the difference being significant(P<0.05). Before treatment, when compared levels ofalbumin (Alb), alanine aminotransferase(ALT), aspartate aminotransferase(AST) and total bilirubin(TBil) between the two groups, there was no significance in the difference(P>0.05). After treatment, levels of Alb in the two groups were increased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05), and levels of ALT, AST, and TBil were decreased(P<0.05); the improvement of above indexes in the study group was more significant than that in the control group(P<0.05). Before treatment, when compared levels ofhyaluronic acid(HA),collagen type Ⅳ(Ⅳ-C),laminin(LN),and procollagen type Ⅲ(PCⅢ) between the two groups, there was no significance in the difference(P>0.05). After treatment, levels of HA,LN,Ⅳ-C, and PCⅢ in the two groups were decreased when compared with those before treatment(P<0.05),and the above indexes in the study group were lower than those in the control group(P<0.05). Conclusion: Based on the routine treatment of liver protection, Fuyuan Huoxue tang for liver cirrhosis can improve clinical effect and effectively improve the liver function and indexes of liver fibrosis.
