Abstract： Under the idea of prevention being more important than treatment in Chinese medicine， Prof. GUO Yu proposed the theory of yin- nourishing and root- strengthening method from the exploration of disease characteristics， weather and climate，and treatment basis based on the theory of three considerations. This paper analyzes the selection of medicine， points and treatment time to provide special external treatment for the prevention of upper respiratory tract infection.
